About

Elena Catalina is a visual artist of Romanian origin, based in Salisbury/Brighton, with a BA Photography degree at the University of Portsmouth.

Her practice shifts between the personal album and the social document, mainly focusing on identity, migration, memory and significant objects. In many of her projects Elena experiments with mixed media and combines photography, archival material, embroidery and text.
